    Icon14 instrument cluster

    hi there i need help on my instrument cluster from 99 galant..i removed my cluster and than i remove the needles,,but when i put them on, the gas gauge needle is working and it's not giving me an accurate gas i mean how much gas i have in my car,so can someone tell me how do i fix this problem..the gas gauge is going up but than when the gas gauge hit like first line from a E position is not going up,so i need a tutorial how to install the needles on instrument cluster..thanks

    remove the needle, fill ur tank all the way up, put the needle on Full,

    QNZ do you think that what you told me would work,to remove needle and fill the car gas full and than put the needle back on Full..

    so when i do that than the needle from gas gauge will be in normal situation as it was before

    Yes anyone that has messed with their gauge cluster has to go through that process to re align the fuel needle correctly.

    ya...i've done it that way. i've also put the needle on when the gas light first turned on and stuck it where i thought the needle should be at that point, too.

    but yeah...hangovers suck. ugh...

    IMPORTANT: Trust the light no matter what the needle says. And when you reposition your needle just lay it on dont smash it down or it will not work and you will damage the mechanism.

    My car had a full tank maybe once in the time I owned it. I used the low fuel light to realign mine.
