In reference to the open loop tables:

Basically open loop load and throttle affects when the ECU goes into open loop sooner or later. Open Loop Load is based on the ECU load while Open Loop Throttle is based on TPS voltage or percentage.

Thanks bro. I will take a look at that. Yeah Big power drop around 750-2000 rpm with the maps. I will have to do a few test and adjust the open loop more.
hm I need to catch myself back up on this. Might not be for the V6 but knowledge is good.
It will work the same. Is all about how things work in our engine computer. 2.4l pcm is as good as the eclipse for ecu for tuning. People who dont want to do a ecu swap and just have add-ons and 5 speed stock pcm is the way to go. Just add a knock sensor to stock pcm. * in progress* and you are set.
I appreciate your dedication in tuning for galants!
Only sonata f5m42 swapped. N/A build in motion.
It could be tune. But Stock rods and setup will only go to 6300K, so to be in the safe zone only rev to 6100K, with a good tune you could make a good amount of power on 4000-5500K RPM. Only a built engine with forge internal will go that high 7000K + RPM.
When i swap to a G4JS block im planning on running and tuning to a 7k redline which is only 500 rpm more then that engine original redline. Theres been a couple of threads ive read that our engine in fact can run to 7k safely. I wouldnt run it stock because i have no supporting mods like cam and a higher CR.
The direction this tuning is going i cant wait to start building my engine.

big progress. By the time you are done. The will be a lots of progress. You need to get a knock sensor.
Im not quite sure how you will accomplish the knock sensor? As far as i am aware our ecu does not have a physical pin for the knock sensor so you would have to code the crap out of the ecu to get it to accept knock..

Maybe a pin that isnt being used anymore can be overwritten?

The harness dont come with the pin. The pcm brings the ping and is not been used. If u chech the first page. I found the knock sensor filterring meaning the code is there. All u need to do is to get a knock sensor with the plug. Run a wire straight to the harness to the pcm. I will try that sometime this week or next
sounds good. I would think that you would probably have to activate the knock sensor also. It may be disabled from factory via periphery bit but you will find out when you try it. I have not looked at my high and low octane timing maps on the galant -- if it is a different map from high to low then you will certainly need to find away to activate it.. Good luck.
