Got the door painted ($50), installed it along with the clip. It's working great and it looks much better. The paint on the door looks better than the paint on the rest of the car now, so either I'll have to re-paint the car or just dirty up the gas door.
gave in and bought a brand new fuel door after mine broke for the 3rd time. I didn't want to go used cause who knows how worn the plastic on a used one could be. No money to color match it yet so it's just staying black I guess lol

me? Oh it's actually no that bad, about 27-28 on the highway. I just hate commuting places. When I'm out driving for fun, I don't mind watching the gas gauge go down lol.
and it's damn hard to get this new door to fit right. Hm. Might just be my chassis, because the previous door had similar (not exactly the same, but similar) problems.
