AC Drain plug removal
Hi all, I have a wet floorboard and am sure something is clogging the drain hole. I have downloaded the service manual for HVAC and it's not quite detailed as to what all is involved in removing that drain plug. looks like it's got a rubber grommet which I'm assuming seals the cabin. if the cabin floorboard is getting wet that grommet may be dry rotted or faulty. I tried removing the pan below the evaporator but if I tug on it a little, it's not going anywhere, so I'm sure it's connected to something and I dont want to break it. What I want to do is get that pan removed, clean up the stringy crap in it and replace the drain grommet. Saw a thread with some pictures but still unsure what I need to remove to get that pan out and of course, the drain.
Any thoughts? thanks.

if you have an air compressor, you can reach into the engine bay and point the compressor into the drain plug and shoot some compressed air into it, that will shoot out whatever gunk is clogging the hole.
