i see 73600 and 73620 for the 7g from SPC. you should need different bolts reither way but how bad was your camber to begin with? go until the tire looks straight then get an alignment i guess
Anyone know the size of the spacer required for an adjustible rear upper control arm mounting bracket.
I reviewed MKO's tutorial "$20 rear camber kit" and confirmed that the long bolts and washers are used because you use the OEM bracket. I have a set of adjustable rear mounting brackets (parts marked with the number 73607) which I was told works for a 7g. What I don't have is any instructions or spacers. I assume the bracket should be mounted so that it is flush with the car body but it just as likely it should be spaced completely off the body or even canted. I plan to use washers as shown in the "$20 rear camber kit" as spacers but would like to get this set up close to what it should be before heading to the allignment shop.

Who or what is SPC? (Speciality Products Corporation http://www.spcalignment.com/)
Camber was off and the alignment shop just said there is no adjustment and wanted to sell me a kit to make it adjustible so they could bring it into spec. I probably could just use the original brackets and washers but the shop is not too flexible with working with me on this. Once I saw a picture of the kit they wanted to sell me I realized I already had adjustible brackets; I just need to figure out what size of spacers I need. Guess I'll just shim, it out with washers until it is flush with the body. These brackets allow you to adjust the camber just by rotating an off set bolt. I'll post a picture of a bracket.

These are the 73607 adjustible rear upper control arm brackets I have. I tried cross referencing them on Speciality Products Corporation (http://www.spcalignment.com/) page and nothing was found. As Galanttuner10 said 73600 and 73620 are for the 7g rear. I am going to give them a call tomorrow and see if they can tell if the 73607 brackets I have will work. I am hoping it is just an earlier version of what they are now selling. The only difference between the 73600 and the 73620 is the 73620 come with the spacers allowing you to make larger adjustments . 73600 does not have any spacers and 73620 comes with spacers & bolts.
The adjustible range for camber with these is: 73600 -.75 degree to +1.50 degree and 73620 -.75 degree to +3.00 degree
Ironically I just parted out a 7g and shipped the shell to the crusher. If I still had it here I could test fit these without messng with my DD.
This side view shows you why I asked about the side of the spacer I should use. The circular end piece rotates to change the distance of attachment bolt from the car body.

On the Speciality products web page the prices for 73600 and the 73620 are:
73600: $68.58 for two brackets (1 side of vehicle) no bolts or spacers with this kit
73620: $86.60 for two brackets (1 side of vehicle) this kit includes the spacers and bolts.
The 73600 kits can also be found on ebay less. There were no 73620 kits on ebay

I searched ebay and didn't find anything but that was because I was using the word mount in my search. Your link was a couple $ cheaper and free shipping but it is only for one side of the vehicle so will need two of them. This is a better deal (assuming I read both listings correctly) both sides for $95 with free shipping from summit racing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Eibac...item5645da702e

I called SPC today and they said the 73607 number on my brackets is really just a part number for the circular part (they called it a cam) and that the brackets are really their 73600. I also asked about them fitting into the car body indent and they said I'd probably have to space them out and suggested I just use washers and longer bolts.

nice my rear camber is 1.7 degrees so i may get that same kit and set it up to take out the most it can with just that off center "cam" then have .2 which is close enough for me

Quick heads upon that ebay link I provided. I emailed Summit asking:
Does this kit include all four rear brackets and eight spacers? Does it
also include the mounting bolts? Lastly, just need to confirm this kit
fits Mits Galant 1994-1998 with the non-adjustible suspension?
They responded back saying, "Thanks for your email. Sorry, this will not fit your application; it only fits the 1999-2003 model Galant, Thanks,"
I think someone there just got lazy because if you use the link on the listing it says it fits all 1994 Galants. I am going to email them back and ask for clarification.
