    How do KYB's work?

I'm an idiot when it comes to the specifics on what things do, but I was wondering if any body that has a better handle on this can tell me if the KYB shocks and struts alone lower your car any? I've seen the GB over at Club3g and wanted to know if the Eibach Pro Kit would be enough of a drop by itself or if the KYB's do anything to lenghen that drop?

well, the KYB struts wont lower your car, since the springs/shocks handle that category. but basically it has dampeners inside, like the front suspension on a mountain bike. just lets the suspension move slower, therefore making it stiffer = more racier.
