map light bulb size, and led conversion

im planning on getting the led bulbs for the dome and map lights on my 02...

first if i install the leds, will the dimming functions still work, i really like the dimming features so if they dont work like that i wont do the led's.

and if i do the led's does anyone know what bulb size is in the map lights? i am having trouble locating the size...

i know the dome is 3175...

lol, i tried sylvania and modified life and googled, thanks ill check out the link.

update:
the bulb chart is basically the same as the sylvania site, it does not include the map light bulb size...

Leds dim just fine but the dome/map lights don't dim.

Here's what I did to my dome lights.




I wish I could have found these in warm white. The cool white is a little blue for my taste but it's still way better then stock. Much brighter.

Yea thanks for the pics, those look like the 561's you put in, in my car the map an dome dims after you shut the car door then gradually shut off after 30 seconds, gradually turn on when I unlock the car also, I like how the lights perform that way,

Oh, I see what you're saying about dimming. Yes, leds dim just like incandescents. I thought you were talking about dimming with the dimmer switch.
