sounds like the of the spark plug wire decided to come off and stay behind.
So I was helping my friend change the spark plugs on his car and I encountered this
Sorry if the picture is a bit blurry
We've replaced all of the spark plugs except this one. I have never seen this before. The spark plug is round for some reason instead of being a hexagon. The other plugs that we removed were 5/8. When I put the socket in to remove this spark plug, it doesn't go down all the way like the rest of the plugs. I Searched every where but i can't seem to find anything on this. All help will be appreciated.

The only thing you might be able to try is a 'gator grip' socket. The problem is though..finding it in a good enough size to fit in the spark plug hole. It looks like this;
If that doesn't work...you will have to take off the cylinder head, or use some other method that I'm not aware of....either way, good luck.

you were right and I am sorry for not listening to you. When I looked at the spark plug, it appeared to be a metal piece and it did turn out to be rubber from the wire. We just figured that out about an hour ago. This guy started to poke at it with a knife and it got stuck to the point and i was like "oh shit..." I should have looked at it a little better. Sorry for the trouble guys.
