Your very welcome buddy I enjoy putting together this motor and can't wait to get behind the wheel and lay some rubber down ;)
Good stuff guys! Can't wait to see it in person! I was just wondering... Is there a reason why the evo ecu is not used?
Lancer/EvolutionX Rotor Glow Paint
6g74 Forged Engine w/ hx40 turbo
Eclipse GT 5 spd swapped
Rotor Glow Galant
Daily Galant
OZ Edition Eclipse
^^^ yea cause its not needed!!! He's running big maps in his ecu so it recognizes boost!!!
Thats right. No evo ecu need it. Boost control will bee use external with tru-boost controller. Stock rom will do the calculation for 100+ loads. The calculation responce should be faster since the ECU dont have to calculate the turbo portion tables.
nice build, how much do you have left? just a little tip though on your quaife, since you have the tranny out of the car test your axles out. people have had problems with the older versions including myself, what happens is the axles dont lock and when you fill with gear oil it all leaks out. it will look and feel
like there locked in but if you give one a good pull and it comes out then you know you have a problem. its usully just one side.
Not much left. just a few more parts like ss lines. But i need to measure when the engine is inside. Thanks for the advice, we will double check the axles.
dont have to do that i already know the axels dont leak..
This is a great build so much $$$$$ spent in those parts lol hope its finished soon and you can enjoy it for a long time ;)
4g64T 5spd
Looks real good.
Did you rebuild that throttle body? If not it's going to leak like crazy.
Can't wait for the Corona meet, I wanna see this beast in person!

No silvertune it hasn't been rebuilt it actually a pretty clean t/b once we get it running ill double check it under boost.
@ Carl kiss my skinny white ass lmao dude I'm trying to but my metabolism won't let me!!!
^^lol
Tb is not rebuilt like dion said. But i wont bee on hi boost for the first 1000 miles. So it should be all good. I will check after the break-in.
What an awesome looking build that is.
You'll want to, I haven't come across one that hasn't leaked on anything above atmospheric, I've lost count on how many I've done now. If you find yourself needing any assistance with it though let me know. Good luck! I expect you'll make some pretty good output.
Mil-spec shaft seals ftmfw! When you're ready to turn the boost up they will come in handy. Looks good though. Can't wait to see what it puts down.
