    Outlander manifold/throttle body swap

I have located both an outlander intake manifold and throttle body. I have some questions about putting them together. The manifold is a 2003 intake manifold which means it should be non mivec. The throttle body is a 4 cylinder throttle body from a 2003 outlander. The throttle body is from an AWD model outlander. Does it make any difference? Can I swap an awd manifold from a 03 outlander onto a 2001 galant with the 03 intake manifold?

Do I need a V6 outlander throttle body or will this 4 cylinder outlander throttle body work?
It says it is an awd throttle body I'm not sure if that makes it any different?
Is there a noticeable performance gain?
    Does mileage improve?

My car is a 2.4 Thanks.

As long as its from a 03 4 cyl. outlander, intake manifold swap will be straight forward, If you are unsure of the model or year get the VIN number and call the dealership. I would reuse your TB or get a v6 galant tb, you only need to fabricate a tb cable mounting point on the rear of the IM.

Is there a noticeable performance gain?

Better response and sounds great, with a tune you might see some power difference, most people (like myself) do the swap when their oem IM cracks, because of the better construction material and design

Does it have to be a 2003 galant throttle body? Or is that preferred? Could it be a throttle body off an outlander? Isn't outlander tb beefier than galant?
