Lower control arm recommendations - OEM, Moog, which is best?

    Guys,

Another project I'm going to do is replace the lower control arms and shocks. It's an '01 2.4L SOHC car with the earlier style LCA.

I'm going OEM on the shocks, they're not too pricey and lasted forever. But for LCAs, I was thinking of going with Moog to save $65 or so. I've had good luck with their stuff in the past.

I tried this repair once using Dorman parts, and the one I went to swap out wouldn't fit. I was pissed. Hopefully Moog parts would actually fit...they weren't available when I bought the Dormans a few years back.

    Thanks!

You've used them and they fit perfectly?

On the Dorman I tried, one of the two areas where it mounts to the car's subframe wasn't welded right, so while I could get the front bolt through, I couldn't get the rear bushing and 'cradle' into the divot in the subframe. If I tried the other way, then I couldn't get the front bolt all the way through.
