    do i need to gap my iradium ix plugs?

    i just got my plugs and wires from nopi.......my mechanic said he would do the tune up for 30 dollars but i feel like doin it myself..........what is the gap for a 7g 2.4?.....do i need to gap em or are they pre gapped?how exactly do i gap em with the tool?.......and do u think a novice should try it?........i'm looking at my plugs and wires right now and i really want to get to work on em!!what kind of socket do i use by the way?

    most chances your iridium plugs came pregapped. gapping the plugs could mean damage to the plug. reAD the box. if it says its ok to gap then gap it. if it doesn't say anything at all about gapping, let it be

    If you didn't buy the plugs from the dealership....then they are not pre-gapped. 4g64 gap should be at 31.
