Just got word that my crank and bearings are fucked up in the motor, and it ruined the front main seal again after seconds of being ran too, looks like Samara won't be running anytime soon, and the motor and crank will need to come out, this sucks, and I am soo fucking pissed off! I just cant get a break FML..

i dont know =( im thinking it happened when the front main seal blew out and the damage was caused by oil starvation. life sucks right about now...

some more progress, getting closer to getting Samara back on the road again finally, bought a bunch of heat wrap for all the hot parts including a T3 DEI turbo blanket
then went ahead and upgraded the clutch while im in there, because i know the old one wont hack it, spoke to Tim Zimmer and he told me this was the best of the best single disk clutch there is, is doesnt get any better then this for single disk's. supposed to handle upwards of the 700 mark. this is the Southbend SS-X pressure plate with full Ceramic disk (b series). part number K536SSXB
then ordered me new ACL main and Rod bearings.
and here we are about to pull the motor.
and out it comes

before shot of the engine bay before i went to town on it with degreaser and shop towels.
cleaned every single little line and surface.
even got the lower subframe.
removed my washer fluid res, because thats where the future one off catch can tank will live.
and here's the motor awaiting new parts.
removed these parts if anybody wants them, you pay the shipping and their yours.
last but not least, i ordered some new ARP bolts for the Fluidampr crank pulley.
Hopefully i can get all this finished up in time for the FP lonestar Shootout in Ennis TX on May 12th.

Got more stuff done this weekend,
engine all buttoned up and ready for the transmission
Taking it off the stand
Putting on the ACT Streetlite Flywheel
and the South Bend Clutch Disk
then the Pressure Plate
Fully Assembled =)
Cleaning up the Transmission a bit getting ready to slap it on the motor.
Installed =)
Moving it over on over to the car on the engine hoist.
about to drop it back in.
and back in =D
starting to get things connected.
aligning the mounts up.
Re-did my old power steering lines with these nice Silicone ones.
also did my small heater hose's in the same stuff.

well any day now she should be back on the road! and best news all year, is she WILL be at the FP Shootout this Sunday may 12th in ennis TX!
