    NGK resister plugs iridium resister.

Aren't most if not all NGK plugs resister plugs? I'm looking at the NGK BKR5EIX-11 they said int he tech info that they are resister plugs. So are these alright? Some one said in another thread iridium were bad for the 2.4?

On the 2.4 use only NgK R copper tips no more no less, you can use the v-powers as an alternative should your parts stor not have regular ones.

Is it a heat issue? Several other threads recommended iridium ngk or denso. I'm asking because I'm wondering if the Denso IK16 or NGK BKR5EIX-11 is better. The NGK has a .6mm electrod the Denso has a .4mm. Both have the same heat rating. Thanks for the reply. I just used the NGK platinums and they failed after about 40k miles, all the electrodes eroded to different lengths.

I dont get too technical with spark plugs and just stick with what works, unless you are boosting I wouldn't mess much with it much.

Just know that nothing has proven to work better on the 2.4 than the regular ngk-r.
