mounting location for a subwoofer?
hi guys, i wonder if i could put a sub woofer on this location, it seems like a stock mounting position.

You can measure it and see if it works. Problem is, most subs aren't made for infinite baffle/free-air installations, they need some kind of enclosure. You can find free-air subs, but they're not as plentiful as normal enclosure subs. If you do use that hole in your rear shelf as your front baffle and fab a box around it and the sub, you'd have to do a good job of making sure it's air tight for it to sound good. For my money I'd just get a box, but go for it if that's what you wanna do, I'll still read the thread.
