    Washer on wheels?

So i have come to a dilemma and since i put on the front calipers from the EVO8, i've had to use spacers for my rims. my rims are 17x7.5 XXR527 offset +35. makes my front wheels stick out farther than my rear ones. So i've found some XXR 531 in silver and they fit. XXR531 17x8 offset +25...they literally will clear if i use 1mm or 2 mm washers as the spacers.

Is it safe to use washers as a spacers?

    what ya guys think?

If you use 2 or 3mm spacers you don't have to extend your studs

Those wheels aren't worth investing any more money into them. Sell to some dork on craigslist and run away, fast.

And no, no washers as spacers.

Buy a 2mm spacer on ebay or a 5mm at a auto part store and install them on all 4 so it's even and call it a day

Ok heres the thing...i have these xxr527 17x7.5 or 17x8 don't remember. offset is +35. That offset didn't work even with the 5mm spacers...so when i did the brembo swap i had to grind down 2mm off the edge of the caliper. Then those rims worked lol...problem was mainly because those were the rims that came with the car cause i inherited it from my parents cause my brother didn't want it and i needed a car lol

(facepalm) you ground down the brake caliper? I'm speechless. I have mb battles 18x8 +30, and I had to run a 10mm spacer to clear the brembos. Instead of grinding them down you should have got a bigger spacer.
