    Icon8 Front Suspension Area

Always in the winter time my front suspension squeaks when rolling over speed bumps, accelerating from stop, applying the brakes upon stopping, pulling into my driveway over the little curb lip. Does not make the sound when turning the wheel. It drives me nutts cause it's so loud and brings attention like I have a POS ride. Anyone else have this issue? NEVER experience this noise in the summer time. I have a 2000 Galant ES V6.

    Thanks for any help provided.

Sounds like 1 of two things to me. You can put motor oil (prefer used) on your struts to see if that helps. Another thing it could be is the a-arm bushings causing the squeaking. You can take the bolt out of the one side and grease them up and take the two bolts holding it to the frame on the other side to apply grease.

I had this a very long time ago and believe I used motor oil on my struts, can't remember now. Hope that helps.
