Lol, luckily all my latest parts of been for interior, yet I do the installs on dry days lol. Its snowing now, and that's why I didn't order more stuff yesteday as planned, cause I was afraid it would get delayed and a big mix up like my aem filter.
Good luck on the install, the sound should be a nice soundtrack for when you do get some nice weather lol

So I have a question... my oil light comes on while at idle but goes away when driving? Oil sending unit issues?

What would cause that?

Is the correct weight oil in it? Lol I'd try that first.

Idk... I haven't changed the oil yet. But that's the first thing I'll do.

Well, after making some terrible sounds from the engine and a short ride on a flat bed, she is sitting at the garage waiting for a doc to look at her and diagnose what's wrong. Just my luck considering I was taking it up to get it to pass inspection.

I have only put 76 miles on the car since I bought it about a month ago. I never made any sounds. After putting on exhaust and fixing inner and outer tie rods I took it for a spin to make sure the alignment was close. Seemed fine then but that's when I noticed the oil light came on while sitting at idle. Then I went to go have it reinspected so I could get tags and about 2 miles out from the inspection station it started to make a horrible noise. Had it towed to the station.
He called earlier and gave me the run down. He said that there was a rod in the lower end that sounded like it was about to come apart, tons of metal in the oil, and that while watching it on the computer the temp would spike after about 2 min of running which he thought may be due to cylinder head being lifted.
I just don't have the funds available to buy and swap a motor.

Oil level was full. It was dirty and needed changing, but full.
