Thanks Everyone!
I would go but the distance plus the next day I'll have school. Next year for sure I'll go since this will be my last year of high school.
Thinking about leaving tint as one of those last things to do to it
You know it!
Here's some stuff that's been going on with the Galant
Finally bought a legit JDM old style bumper so no more duraflex for me, still haven't installed it yet because still need to paint it.
Also got the 6G75 on the stand
Intake manifold is going to be sent to get ported
6G74 lower intake manifold ported thanks to silvertune and 3000GT VR4 fuel rails with the 6G75 fuel injectors
also bought some RPW headers
I have a questions for the 5-speed swapped people. Do you guys know if the wedge collar in the pressure plate of the clutch is suppose to spin with the TOB or not? Or is it okay if it stays in place when the TOB spins?
This is what I'm referring to:
The reason I ask is because I bought an ACT Monoloc to experiment with. It fits my clutch so I put on the TOB to test it and the Monoloc stays in place while I spin the TOB but I'm not sure if this is okay or not. The clutch currently on the Galant right now, has its wedge collar sticking a little out crooked. I read about the monoloc & hoping it will fix this problem if it wants to happen on the new clutch.

Nice nice. Yeah that wedge collar is suppose to stay put. No spinning. The monoloc is very good at keeping your tob from popping out of the pressure plate. It happens from time to time when banging gears on certain trannies

Glad that manifold got to you this time. Fucking USPS. Some quality pieces going into this motor, I look forward to the final product.
well well well, I guess I returned to TGC at a good time! I'll be watching this build closely..
Nice, did you set a date to get the swap done by?

This is getting good (not that it wasn't before), about to get some popcorn and cherry coke lol
Thanks!
I know, I don't know how they lost it or if they did open it up why they didn't tape it back up
Not really, I'm hoping to get it done sometime in July if everything goes good. I'm really just trying to finish it before I start college
Cleaned up the heads
And the top of the pistons are now clean
Flywheel resurfaced
Good work. Bur what did you mean by cleaned the heads?

Yeah, really... lucky kid, lol! Good job, nice car! :)
idk if you'll want it, it's chipped and cracked, but if you do just give me some time to find a box big enough & I might let it go for not that much since the condition it's in.
So my Galant does not have a 6G72 anymore...
the 6G75 has a new home in my Galant's engine bay
I love what's going on with your car!
