V6 Dark Horse build

Hello and welcome to the first installment of my build thread, today we will be talking about in no particular order, Future plans, Current Mods a little of my car history and last we see how fast the stig can take my car around the track....

2000- First car is 96 Ford Thunderbird
2005-I bought a 1996 V6 Accord LX 50k miles ( my first import ) in 2006 I got T-boned at freeway speeds on the passenger side by a truck, no air bags deployed, most of the passenger door was smashed up to the center console ( that Honda saved my life ) scrapped the car for $350, I was shown to be at fault because my back tire blew out so no insurance money.
2006- Bought a 1995 Honda Del Sol, 1.6L, installed Tein SS coil's AEM cold air intake and DC headers
2008- Lifted the head and car sat/ met my wife
2009- rebuilt motor
2010- Sold car when the family became +1, bought a 2001 Chevy Silverado
2010-2013 owned and sold a 92 Honda accord and 98 ford windstar(people movers)
2014- picked up a 2001 black gtz (mine) and 2000 silver gtz ( her's )

So the Galant...

Paid $2650


First thing i did was get rid of all the chrome on the car


For the first few months I had no real plans for the car, I wasn't sure if I wanted to get back into the Honda scene so I contemplated selling the gtz.
By chance I came across Galantforums, started to look into the kinds of car's people are building and it wasn't till after reading M-rods V6 build, that I would have vision of what the car could be.

So after lurking long enough I joined TGC, here we are today.

STAGE 1: Suspension Overhaul
Motor Mounts....2 left

Energy Suspension bushings...Need
Front endlinks...Moog
Rear endlinks...Need
Ball joints...Need
Tie rods...need
Hubs...need

Now not all of the above might need replacing or not but for peace of mind I will complete these purchases before moving.

STAGE 1.5: Brakes
Upgraded Calipers...Need
Larger Rotors...Need
SS Brake Lines...Need

Looks much better with black wheels. Glad the car could be a help in forming your vision.
