Stars aligned and fate agreed that I need a evo6lsd rear diff. It can up for the right price so I'm gunna get rim of the ayc. So much trouble for what it's worth. Will be a nice weight saving. Lol

And finally fitted my evo short shifter yesterday. Feels heaps better.

That 5 speed looks just like the USDM one, the bell housing is slightly different, do you have more pics of the trans from other angles?

    EDIT:
Pics of the USDM V6 manual trans

u just gave me an idea... ill be able to compare the 6a13 gearbox and the 4g63 gearbox in about a month or so

But I read somewhere that the 6a13 gearbox only fits the 6a13 could be wrong tho hop3 so at least

Damn, looking at the pics, aside from the bell housing the trans looks identical.

Yes the bell housing is different. They share the same internals between the evo 4g63t and 6a13tt. Had a few members change the gear sets over as evo gears are longer on 1st 3rd and 5th. Iirc

Well I know the 4g63 transmission bolts up to the 6a12tt and vice versa and the guy that built my eclipse with the 6a12tt said if this motor blows we should just drop in the 6a13 as the parts are easier to come across so I assume the 6a13 would bolt to the 4g63 because he said I'd only need the motor.
