Nice numbers, why wouldn't the motor handle more paper safely??

Was back on the dyno today for my last retune of the season. 400whp and 370ish lb ft was our final numbers. About all the motor could safely make on pump gas. Didn't want to scatter the motor all over the ground so, I decided I'm happy with that. Set up the boost by gear as well. 12psi in 1st, 16ish in 2nd, and 21 in 3rd and up. Raised the rev limit to 7k as well. Numbers were made on a mustang dyno. We were spinning the rollers at 23psi. Lol. Got the rest of this season to enjoy it and try to get a lower ET. Going to step back and put her on the back burner for next year to save some money and take care of family. Going to collect some parts for the FWD Evo trans setup in the meantime (3G trans ain't got long). Will take some photos of the dyno sheet when I get back from the holiday and hopefully more video from the track by end of the month. It's been a good year. It will be bittersweet to put her away for a whole year, but life's priorities sometimes won't match your own.

I built it for 9.5:1 with the former information we had about the combustion chambers. Remember we kept blowing it up? Then you and Brandon finally CCd the head and when we did the math it ended up being 10.7:1 and ever since we knew that info we've been keeping a close eye on timing and haven't had an issue. But no, the compression was completely a mistake in math. But oh well.

Yeah. I'm gonna take the car down for a year save some cash then setup a better transmission solution (fwd Evo 5speed), ID1700 injectors, and maybe a 62+mm turbo.
Not a bad plan. Fwd evo tranny is on the list for me. Doubt it will be done next summer though, I'd like to switch my snail and manifold once the evo transmission is in since the starter will be moved out of the way. We'll see how much power it makes on the current setup.

I'm gonna try to get the car to go a bit faster yet. I do t think the trans will last a ylonger but I'm hoping I can get into the low 11's without blowing it up so I can sell the trans and the LSD.
Well, we set out to make an 11 second pass which would have made Babyg the fastest and quickest FWD 8G Galant in the nation (as far as I know) but unfortunately the trans was not happy and we lost the 1-2 synchro last weekend. I told myself I wasn't gonna waste anymore time with the 3G trans so I'm done with it. It still drives but 2nd gear doesn't go in at all unless you push the clutch in and let the rpm drop all the way down to idle (or you can go into third and back down to second). She's going to be put away for a couple years, but be ready for an upcoming rebuild. As for now, here's a full length video of Babyg 2016. Enjoy!

Sorry to hear that, especially the part where you put it away for a couple of years.
I dunno if you saw this or not but its a good deal and rarely come up for sale not to mention its in your area. Worth picking up and holding on to until your ready to get the car going again.

Foreal, just the fact there never available should be enough to buy. If I didnt have to spend a lil more to get mines complete I would be buying this and putting it away.
That link doesn't work. But in actually picking up a trans tomorrow with a bent shift fork for $500. Having Boostin rebuild it to hold the power.

I still need a transfer case, Evo knuckles, axles, starter plate, etc. I prolly will just collect the parts for now. I'm most likely going to road race my Evo in the meantime. I've really been itching to do grid life so I figure now is the time.
bro, Baby G looks great and will come back strong!
