2003 galant es tire sizes

Hello all, my father has a 2003 galant. The tires on the car are pretty warn from him being so cheap. So my question a buddy of mine will give me relatively new 205/70r15 tires my father will not care about looks or performance or anything like that as he just drives to and from work. Will these tires fit in the car? The oe tire size was 195/65r15 thanks Joe

Overall diameter will affect how his speedometer will be read. it'll be off by a couple of mph's. the tires will work fit and he can use them, just be mindful that the speedometer will be off due to the tires being taller
