So I need new brake pads and rotors for the front on my 04 Galant ES 2.4L my question is what are some good ones I can buy for under 200. I found some from powerstop that are drilled and slotted for around $130. What's the best?

Brembo, dba, ebc, stoptech is my preference list in this order. They all have a good assortment based on needs or desires. Drilled and / or slotted are nice, but not necessary, blanks are perfectly fine on a budget with stock brakes. I'd rather buy a quality blank over a chinese cast that's drilled and slotted. Rockauto has great prices for stoptechs or oem. For street pads HPS is fine, Stoptechs are also ok, my current favorite one is DBA.
For a daily driver there's no need in drilled and slotted rotors, they just eat your pads faster. Like mentioned above, get a really good set of blank rotors and invest your money in your pads. The more money you spend on pads the more difference you will notice in your braking.
