did some searching first on the oz forums now here... seems the knowledge base here is vastly larger. what I need to know is if the trans from a 6g fits a 6a.... well really if the 6a trans fits on the 6g block but tomato toemahto.

my understanding is the trans on my 6a has a different bell housing than the evo trans, even thou the trans is the same. wondering if mitsu did me a favour and used a 6g bolt pattern on the 6a. any help you guys can give would be appreciated and prevent me from having to pull the motor out of my daily just to find out.


back story for those who have questions: I have a couple 3000gts and daily a 02 legnum vr4. have a built 4bolt 6g72 out of one of the 3000gts just sitting on a stand since its previous home is getting a 6g75. was thinking it'd be nice to just be able to drop in a motor I already know bumps 637awhp without to much screwing around.... and without losing my ayc
