<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jeucken)</div><div class='quotemain'>...(was able to get 4 momo rims (205 and 16 inch)Anyway, I first cleaned the rims since that goes much easier when they are not on the car. After that I put the car on the jack and loosened the screws of the left-rear wheel. But I wasn't able to get it of. Â*:oops: Â*
Is there a fifth screw or some special way to get it of?
</div>
No buddy, there's not a fifth screw. You should probably just take it off "the hard way" - It could be thightened up too much if you didn't get rims off since you purchased your car. Just move the rim left and right, up and down, and it should went off just fine.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(jeucken)</div><div class='quotemain'>So I put the new wheel on but I noticed that the screws of the old wheels don't fit throught the holes on the new ones. But I guess I can buy different ones at almost any carparts store?
</div>
Diferent cars have diferent distance between holes on the wheels. You don't have to watch just that it has 4 and not 5 holes, but also the distance betwen those holes.
6G Galants (like yours) have 4x114,3mm hole distance, and you rims wich don't have the same distance will sertanly not fit. Most cars have 4x100mm (Honda, VW, Seat, Renault... but not all the models). You probably got that size since it is the most standard size.
And something else - Galant's have standard 195/60/15 tires on 15" 4x114,3mm rims . If you wan't to get 16", get:
- either 7"x16" rims with 4x114,3mm holes amd 205/55/16 or 205/50/16 tires (like I have)
- either 7,5"x16" on the same tires, but beware. The "Offset" should be +40 I think... I didn't watch out and now my rims are sticking out of the car a little - They are yctually too wide. I have "Exlusive Line" model B 7,5"x16" on Falken Ziex ZE512 205/50/16 - Damn gooooooooood tires
I hope that this info helped you buddy and good luck with your rims. Ofcours - keep us posted about your solution.
Good luck
