    Ive seen Y-pipes on a 2000 galant. Does anybody know any links about this?

    thats something that is mostly custom. you are going to have to go to a local exhaust shop to get that done.

    those are more than likely custom made or adapted from a dual outlet exhaust system made for another car.

    hope you have a V6 though, because Y splitters are pretty much proven to drain HP from the engine if you're running I4, but adds slight benefit to V6s. i'm not sure why, just one of those things i took for granted when enough people said it.

    unless you are going tru dual, chances are a dual exhaust is gonna slow you down on a regular n/a car. i remember back in the day, the peepz at club 3g did a dyno of the dual axle back exhaust and yea, they saw maybe a 1hp gain or something but that gain was lost anyways from the weight of the exhaust.

    What about on a turboed 4cyl? Would there still not be a benefit or will there still be enough BP that it would help?
