    Electric Side Mirrors Control

My Electric Mirror control has died. Its not a fuse, becuase there is no fuse dedicated to this function (and nothing else is failing).

are there any common problems with these things that might be apparent, or otherwise any suggestions to what parts of the car i should be pulling apart for a look?

My right side mirror (up/left) broke too. Dealer said I needed to replace the whole mirror :-(

    Bah!

I just don't use it anymore, I've gotten over it. It's been about 1/2 year.

In my case it aint the mirror itself, because they both stopped working at the same time. I removed the switch from the console and checked the wiring physically, and it seems ok.

Found the solution, the Cigarette lighter Fuse in the junction box under the Dash had blown. Never noticed that before because I dont smoke. Replaced fuse and mirrors work again.

Why didnt Mitsubish label that Fuse "Cigarette and Mirror" instead of just "Cigarette" - might make it easier for some people?

I am also quite surprised nobody here mentioned it either - I am sure its a common problem.
