    Transmission Cooler

I want to put in a trasnmission cooler on my 96 galant (auto). The box comes with a radiator device some hose and a few random fittings. What else do I need and where does it hook into the tranny. Do i need a pump? Some one explain how too hook this up please.

Wait I think I already have one...then would I get better efficency if I installed a new one...or should I just leave well enough alone?

leave well enough alone and save for a 5 speed swap.

the transmission oil cooler is exactly that, an oil cooler. it cools the fluid temperature and if they wanted it to be more efficient they would have made it larger. transmissions are not meant to run cold so adding a cooler would not only decrease the transmission fluid pressure by adding a restriction, but you would be further lowering the manafacture specified temperature.
