I was driving on the highway and getting off on the exit ramp when my car just died in the middle of everything. I tried to start it again and after about a minute I finally got it started, drove about 100 ft. to a stop light and it died again. I had to have somebody jump my car. It also was making ticking noises because my oil was a little low from the day before so I put in a quart of oil and that seemed to help for the most part on my drive. I had been driving about 30 miles. After I started my car up again it was ticking really loud again. It kept dying every time I started it too. Anyone know whats going on?
Well the shop called me today and the manager who looked at my car said that when they started it up it sounded horrible and he was thinking that my engine is very very close to being dead :cry: (its got over 185,000 miles on it though). He said it sounded like a rod was knocking real bad. That really sucks I don't know what I'll do now.
