    like said above....TURBO

if turbo isn't your thing, for whatever reason, always consider a safe shot of nitrous, 5spd swap, redo all the suspension. without turbo and nitrous, there's no hope to get any faster.

    the TD06 20g sounds nice

    http://www.horsepowerfreak.com/FTRB_TURB.asp

I was thinking level 4. The other upper level sounds nice but I also have in mind that I need to buy the other stuff for the upgrade like the intercooler, external wastegate, bov and all the good stuff.

A guy in Central, IL dynoed at 328whp with a Frank turbo and the 4g64. Not sure which turbo, I dont know much about it but that.

I would either turbo the '64 and do a 5spd swap, or do a '63t and 5spd swap like me

Turboing the '64 would be easiest and I would go with a larger turbo because a quick spooling small/medium size turob will just give you more traction problems. The TD06H 20g is a nice turbo, as well as the PTE 50 trim turbos. I am going to upgrade my Big 16g with the TD06H 20g this May and also get the Kaaz clutch type LSD...

If you want a parts list to make a 6bolt '63t fit, let me know, I will help you out.

the 63t sound nice but since i already have the 64 mind as well do the 64.
I was thinkig about the bigger the turbo the quicker the spooling and i gonna gave it a world and go for the frank level 6. Hey man do you have a part list of everything you need to drop the TDO6H 20G.

    Thanx man

The bigger the turbo the slower the spool...

Click the DIY TUrbo stick at the top of this forum for a parts list...

I'm in the process of going turbo with the '64 and $3000 should cover it no problem.

If you do decide to go that route, use the sticky on top like Seth said, and for parts go to:

    www.dsmtrader.com
    www.ebay.com
    www.mitsubishigraveyard.com

FYI, I opted for the smaller 14b. My car is daily driven and I'm not looking for any serious numbers, just some added 'umph' on the street.

Some of those parts are optional/interchangeable with others of course... but that looks good to me.
