    transmission drain plug?

    could you guys tell me where is the transmission drain plog on a 01 Galant?

    I've spent the last 20 minutes but still couldn't find it.

    center?

    How big is it? All I see is two probably size 7 bolt. Unscrewed one of them but
    that's just a long screw. I was assuming the drain plug is much bigger.

    I still can't see it. I say a blach vertical pan on the front of the transmission but those are really corroded bolts. Looks like never been removed.

    I may post a video see if you guys can spot it

    It should be a flat looking screw head near your transmission pan, about 15/16 size socket to unscrew it.

    go look at the manual to auto conversion tutorial. There's a picture of the trans with the fluid being drained out of it.

    found it?

    I have removed the driver side wheel and behind the plastic cover on the left side of the tranny there is a flat, huge bolt. rusty like hell

    I know you don't. I meant in the tutorial section there is a Automatic transmission to Manual transmission thread that shows where the plug is.

    see the hole where the trainsmission oil is coming out of? thats the bolt you must take out
