    How To Remove Factory Steering Wheel (Video Tutorial)

    PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!


    TOOLS REQUIRED ARE:

    -10mm wrench for the battery terminal
    -18mm socket to remove steering wheel nut
    -Small flat head screwdriver to push airbag connector up
    -T-30 star to remove steering wheel side bolts

    HOW TO REMOVE IT:

    1. Disconnect Negative Terminal on Battery

    2. Remove the 2 bolts on side of steering wheel with T-30 star

    3. Pull air bag off, unplug horn, airbag and cruise control

    4. Lock steering wheel

    5. Remove Center nut on steering wheel with 18mm socket

    6. Wiggle steering wheel loose and remember position of it for installation in that same position

    7. Removal complete!





    INSTALLATION OF STEERING WHEEL:


    1. Install Steering wheel in the same position you took it off and torque the nut to 30 Ft-lbs

    2. Install airbag connector, horn and cruise control at this time

    3. Install the Airbag and secure it with the 2 star bolts on the sides

    4. Connect Battery

    5. Done!

    Great tutorial, I'm assuming you just reverse it to install the wheel?

    Ok but I dont think you will. I will add a reinstallation in a minute.
