Need new tires for factory wheel (195/65) - help???

Well, I was greeted with a flat tire this morning. I just wanted to get others opinions on a tire with good wet/dry traction - not worried about snow traction as I live in Florida. Thanks!

You can do a nice comparison of tires at www.tirerack.com. Being florida, you probably want to look at Max, Ultra or High Performance Summer tires with a high traction rating for water. A couple good ones - based on the specs/reviews - are Pirelli P6000 and Kumho ECSTA KH11. Hope this helps.

Blankman, thanks for the info. I'm trying to decide between the Bridgestone Potenza RE950 ('http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+RE950') or the Kumho ECSTA KH11 ('http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+KH11'). My local dealer will sell me the Kumho's for $300 installed, and the Bridgstone's for $400 installed. Are the Bridgstone's worth the extra $100?

Well, I ended up getting the Bridgestone Potenza RE950's. I was leaning toward the Kumho's because of the price difference, but my dealer wouldn't have been able to get them in for 3-4 days, and had the Bridgestones in-stock.

On a side note, they are offering me the Road Hazzard Warranty for $36 after tax for all 4 tires, is this something worth getting - or is it generally a waste of money (like product protection plans at bestbuy/circuit city)?

yeah, it's worth getting. if anything happens to any of your tires (like if you get nails in three of them, like me), you just take it back and they repair it, for free. or if it's really messed up they just give you a new one. well, some places do it like that, some prorate the amount you pay. if they let you trade in a messed up tire for a new one straight up, without having to pay, then it's a good deal.

Ya, this place prorate's them, thats why I wasn't sure if I should bother...
