I'm looking for a cheap, but working, OBD-II scan tool - just want one to check and erase codes from the ECU. Any recomendations on where/what type to get? Right now, the best option I've found is an $85 cable, board and software kit from OBD2.com that will connect to my portable. But, if there is a hand-held device around the same price somewheres, let me know. Thanks!

Check ebay. They're for sale on there all the time.

Thanks guys. Yah - I saw all the ebay ones - but thought I could get a better deal/product elsewhere. I've checked locally, too, but it seems most spec out as being for FORD or CHEVY or what-not - even though I know they should all have the same connector, programed codes might differ slightly. After reviewing everything, I believe I'm going with the cable, card and software from OBD2.com. After thinking about it, I like the idea of real-time monitoring of the engine variables in addition to scanning and resetting...
