Will this fit a 1997???

Hey i found this MAS/fliter on ebay. It says its for a 94 galant. But will this fit my 97 as well????

the MAS adaptors for most of the mitsubishis are the same. that includes the 94+ galants, the 95+eclipse turbo, the 2000+eclipse N/A, the US spec lancer, the mirage, and a few more

schick - how wide is the MAS adapter you got in inches? All the ones I've found are 4.5" which makes it hard to make a CAI - is this one only 3"? If so I'll definitely buy one from this company...

check out procarparts.com they have one pictured for the eclipse that looks like its less than 4.5 inches. looks more like a 3, check it out

if i remember correctly... 00+ galant/eclipses have round MAS(es)

not octogons(or whatever).. like "us"

the rear of the 7g MAS is oval and yea the rear of the 8g is round. but on the front they are both flat, have the same size on the front and the same bolt patterns also.

Doesnt matter if the MAS is 4.5", just go to home depot and buy a 3-4" rubber fitting like I did. Its easy

I got it from procarparts.com a long time ago for $36.95...I dont know if they carry the same thing anymore. I looked at their site the other day, but could not find it

The MAS adaptor I got (I think from you Seth), ended up not fitting for me, so I dunno...

Luckily I have the Weapon R one I got from my original intake and that one fits perfectly, only shitty thing is it's plastic.

Maybe I got the 8G one? It comes VERY CLOSE to fitting but just won't slip on. I gave it to my buddy with an 8G though and it wouldn't fully fit onto his either.
