Hello,

I own 2002 ES V6. I need to order AEM short ram. Is this the correct part #: 22-433
(I hesitated because this is for 4 cyl rather than for V6 Eclipse).

Thanks.

make sure you order it for an galant i got a 2002-03 eclipse intake and it doesnt fit right. i had to bend it to where it sitis right behind the headlight and not in that gap becuase there is no room for it.

2 things...

first of all. aem doesn't make an intake for the galant. jsut the eclipse

secondly, he won't have that problem because the short ram doesn't go near the headlight like the cai's

i had to curve it behind the headlights because of a something connected to the tranny i pretty sure it gets real hot so i didnt want to melt the intake cone so i was force to curve it behind the headlight and it came off an 02-03 eclipse gs/rs.

here's some install info and pictures from an eclipse. they look really similar

but yea install i think is really easy. i think the hardest part was removing the oem intake.

Hi Pinoy,

Thanks for the link.

Now my concern is with emission inspection, would it be OK to go to the inspection station with this intake on? My sticker will be expired next month.

you should be fine. the aem for the v6 is 50 state legal.
