yup been there. check you state and local laws about that. some areas have a certain decible reading that you must stay under and then some states, i think MA has one that says anything louder than stock.

First time i ever got pulled over was for the exaust. just got a warning. Havent been pulled over again.

So far Cali cops are the only ones that are even considering carrying dB level equipment. You can pretty much get out of any ticket unless they actually measure the sound of your exhaust. Which is why almost everyone gets warnings.

The cops will look for other illegal things to ticket you for though, if you give them a reason to pull you over in the first place. EX: An exhaust so loud it sets off car alarms.
