Car Wont Start... help

i posted this in another thread too but i really need an answer soon cuz i need my car
but heres my problem...
i was putting on my fog lights and i took the battery out and put it back in like twice
now my car wont start
the lights will sometimes come on but then fade off
things seem to work ok as far as the radio and dome lights
but there was a hissing sound coming from the battery
and like i said the car wont start

did you connect the battery backwards?

no its on right and secure
any other possibilites

weird but i let it sit for a while and reconnected and battery and now its working fine
but anways thanks of the quick responses

check your fuses and your fused links. you might have blown one. also check the wiring for the fog lights. you might have wired it wrong or poorly and there could be a short that might have blew a fuse.
