My friend gave me this link the other day. I didn't get a chance to look at it til today. But yea, its made for those who burn out their headlight wiring due to high wattage bulbs.

you can buy a replacement harness at the dealer but you still run a chance of buring up your wiring.

you can buy a heavy duty wiring kit from like suvlights.com or apc that uses relays and get the power form the battery and have thicker wire. but those can cost about 50 dollars more or less.

so why not just build it yourself?? if you have a lil bit of electrical experience you can build one of these kits yourself at home for more than half the cost of those kits you see online.

here's how Click Click ('http://www.humanspeakers.com/audi/headlight-simple.htm')

the silverstar bulbs are the same wattage as stock bulbs. so they shouldn't fry your harness. my friends have tried this mod and they've told me that on their cars, the headlights are a lil bit brighter with the upgraded harness.

I could have used that. I melted my harnesses twice with the silverstar bulbs. After awhile I got sick of it and went back to OEM bulbs.
