Taking Coilovers off of Struts...

I bought a set of used GC coilovers and KYB struts from Soltero and got the spring off, but how does the bottum sleeve come off of the strut pearch? Does it screw off? Cause its on there pretty good.

Also, for the KYBs, how do you know what setting they are on? There are no #s on the little dial...

They initially come set on 2...

Not sure about GC, but my skunk2's had three allen wrench screws that screw in flush with the thread on the sleeve. Just take a look at the threaded sleeve and see if there are any screw holes in there, should be three on adjacent sides.
