Xenon Bulb Life?

Just wondering how long everyone xenon bulbs lasted and what brand they were using. I had a pair of blue xenon bulbs for the headlights off of ebay and they only lasted about 8000 miles. Hoping you guys have some suggestions for what brand to use to hopefully get some more life out of them. By the way I also purchased blue xenon fog lights and found them to not show any color because of the coloring on the stock fog cover.

Maybe you touched the bulb with your finger. I've had my xenon blue bulbs (From ebay as well) in my galant since april. I've put at least 9k miles on my car and no problem.
