my damm bumper

Today I decided to clear my light for my car (96) and I'm heated as hell because I spent 2 hours taking out all the screw that I had to take out to take off my front bumper only to get stuck on the 4 plastic screws that connect the bumper to the header bar. I've tried everything that I can and they just ain't moving. If anyone know the solution to this please let me know https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif ( the tutorial didn't help me with part)

There are two ways you can do it:

Take some needlenose pliers, and go under and behind the bar, so you can squeze them out(Squese in and push up)

Now, the way I did it was pretty much along the lines of, "Why the hell are all these assbackwards too many hard to reach bolts and plugs and crap here!? *RRRRIP*"

IMHO, there are way too many bolts and crap holding that thing on in goofy-ass places. So I cut the header bar brackets that bolt up behind the headlights and in front of the radiator. I left enough for it to bolt to the headlight housings, and things are just as sturdy. I also have no idea what I did w/ thoe damn white plastic screws that are under the headlights. I also don't care.

The only purpose all these crazyass bolts serve is as a theft deterant. There's NO WAY soneone's stealing your bumper w/ all these bolts in place. But be sure to expect LOTS of vandalism due to frustration.

yea... there too many damn bolts holding that thing in place specially the two bolts behind each headlight :evil:

I just ended up ripping the bumper off too. Much easier... plus it releases all the frustration you built up trying to find each and every bolt. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
