That doesn't sound right. You shouldn't have to mold it unless you want to. It should fit without molding. Although, depending on where you bought the kit from, I have heard about versions of that kit being sold that don't fit properly. It sounds like you got one of those kits. Where did you buy it from?

i'm getting the kit free since i don't wanna wait for the urethane kit. i'm getting the kit from eRacings.com.......i believe the dude said it was best to mold it in because there's some fitment issues with the quarter panel

i bought the back bumper, from tunning411, a compnay on Ebay.......and i believe i did get a bad kit, because now i'm being told that i have to cut off my back bumper reinforcement in order to fit on the back bumper.........have u heard of this needing to be done before? and if so is there anyway around it, that anyone knows of?

You need to take a look at that link. That tells you all about what I was saying before, that some kits fit and others don't.

the back bumper is suppose to wrap around the wheel well. there will be a minor gap the runs over that section. But than i have the USDM kit, so it could definitely be that you bought a bad kit.

i got the erac1ng usdm. the sides of the rear wrap on the wheel well. the only problem is that there is a gap no bigger than a pinky gap. it is as eye sore if u go show. better to be molded on OR cut it, modify w/ fibergalss fabrication to fit where the rear usdm went. but thats extreme. currently i have it just on. i plan to mold it.

I think it's normal if the kits are from asia because their bumper is shorter than ours that's why most of the kit has like 2" shorter which is normal since it's originally designed for the asian spec galant. so I don't think it consider a bad kit & it does require to cut or mod the r-bar if that kit is original for asian galant
