I was wondering if anybody tried painting the chrome part in the headlight. If so what type of paint did you use. Thanks

you should use high temp paint because bulbs get hot as heck.

Are you talking about painting the bulbs or the reflextive chrome headlight back panel? If you're talking about the backpanel, the chrome reflects the light from the bulb. It's just like painting the chrome part of your flashlight. You'll basically ruin it.

well i think there is two portion to chrome housing inside the headlights. one that reflects main light should be left untouched and the other one that extends to corner light can be painted causing little or no effect to light source.
but i seen it done with white galant and looks awsome. i was thinking about doing it but i found a doner for black housing headlights.

you paint the outer part of the housing..

heat the lenses up w/ heat gun using a sweeping motion until it get hot enough to take apart then tape off the chrome reflective part of the lense and then paint the other parts I used a bout 5 coats sprayed about 20 mins apart so I let it dry real good and it came out good...
