Yes, I got it. She is the most beautiful of all 11 Galant GTi-s DOHC that are driving in my country. She is a great car, I got it for $2200 USD - she has 208.000 kilometers, really nice maintained, from in and out - engine works perfect, she has new all 4 discs and brake-plates, new timing belt and all other belts and tensioner, just changed oil, filters, brake fluid, NGK spark plugs etc... It is E39A 4G63 DOHC with manual tranny - 110kw/150HP - AWD, 4WS, AC, All power, ABS etc...

Anyway... This is like the biggest dream of last 4 years has come true.
The only thing that former owner didn't manage to change yet (but has already an apointment at mechanic on wednesday) are schocks... Although it didn't feel weird at all... Yes, they are a little "soft" but I will do them soon.

OK, I got the point, but I don't plan this yet... I just got the car - first I'll drop her a bit and probably get some high performance clutch. I think this one is still stock and I have strange filling that it wont last long anymore :wink:

I am planing new wheels, but not now. In a few weeks I am doing new paint job - the decision about the colour is not final jet, but I think I will paint it metallic BLACK 8)

Yeah, these seats are different... When I had GLSi SOHC - seats were not as comfortable as these are in GTi https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif Lucky me I guess... https://www.thegalantcenter.org/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif

BTW: We have some stupid laws that prohibit us to tint windows more than 8% in front and more than 35% in back. And I 'd like to have the same percentage of tint on both sides - front and rear :wink:

not sure what you are on about, 60% tinting is better than 8%.

in other words the higher the number, the darker it is and the greater the glare reduction or the ability to see through it.

100% tint is best, cant see in cant see out :-)

yeah evo, i was lookin for a vr4 but the bloke sold me an evo motor thinkin it was a vr4, bonus for me.
Mainly got done for defective vehicle, no engineers certificate, cause the cop that done me knew that the gsr wasnt a factory turbo, and a nice EPA for being to loud

Heya !! Sorry for being well behind everyone else [I've been hiding out & trying to get some mods done !] But congrats on the new car - I notice you even got a 4WD one - aint they the best ? 8)

You'll soon find the engine responds well to tweaking - I had mine dyno-tested the other day, and got 160Bhp with only a Remus rear exhaust on it !

I haven't had any problems with my clutch sine I've had mine [I've done 115,000 miles now] and it gts some serious greif, believe me !!



So, I guess I'd better go see what else I've missed !
