Forget Ecarboy!!

Ecarboy, the company that I did the group buys with for the rear window visors and JDM tails and also sold us the door sills and body kit, is now being run by a guy named Kenny instead of Jaspen Tang. Jaspen is the one I have always dealt with and the guy who started Ecarboy. Kenny has raised the price of the JDM tails from the $280 shipped group buy price to $360 shipped.

It seems that Kenny screwed Jaspen over and forced him out of the company, but Jaspen is opening up another company. It will open on 9/28/02 and it will be called Aerodynaic Car Accessories Company Ltd. The website is http://www.aero-dynamic.biz ('http://www.aero-dynamic.biz') but it's under construction. Hopefully Jaspen can get the JDM tails for a good price.

Kenny was the guy I was dealing with in regards to the door sills I was trying to get for a GB. I ended up terminating contact with the guy. I was sort of upset that this guy went around me and contacted someone else from TGC and they started a GB. I was like, WTF?

When Jaspen does open shop, have him stop by our Vender's forum. I hope he can get a GB going on the window spoiler again.

I don't trust this Kenny guy and I don't plan on buying anything from him or Ecarboy again, but I thought I should let you know that Kenny told me he has two rear window spoilers left and he will sell them for $150 plus $40 shipping each.

Well, raising the price itself is definitely going to turn away customers itself. I remember both but it was Jaspen that was always the one who was keeping correspondence with me and inquiring if we had any other needs.

Jaspen seemed to be the one who cared more about the company and business--more involved.

That's just my perception but that was a while ago too.

I personally haven't communicated with Jaspen but he sounds like an alright guy. When he opens shop he'll need some customers. I'm definately down to help him with some customers especially if he's holding the door open to the JDM market for us. He could hook us up.

DANJ - I'm in no hurry for the spoiler. If Jaspen can get it for us, I'll go through him. He should have a few GB's to celebrate his grand opening and to bring in some customers.

Alright, Jaspen will be up and running soon. I only dealt with him through ebay and i hope he can organize something on TGC. I would love to deal with him through TGC. I too spoke with kenny and he raised the prices on the door sills. What a JA!

I just got an email from Jaspen and he is going to stick with the price of $280 shipped for the JDM tails. I'm sure it will take about two weeks for him to order them once you place the order though.

Thats too bad, but keep me posted on the spoiler GB too. I'd only deal with Jaspen too just because we know he's reliable. Keep me informed. peace...
