Rim Dilemna - what do you guys/girls think??

:twisted: I was debating to get 20" or 18" rims. If I got the 20's I didnt have the money right away for the drop and springs. But if I got the 18's I have plenty of $$ for the eibach springs and drop (install). Anyone have any opinions? Quantum Tek S14's 18"(drop and springs) or Volt 753 20" (no drop or springs immediately... have to wait)

one thing i learned when shopping for wheels...dont get knockoffs. you'll KNOW the rest of the time you have em that they are just cheap knockoffs and i wouldn't trust em to be as reliable.

Volt, I never heard of.

I'd say go for 18's, but I don't really like that style of Quantum Teks. The Volt rims you pointed out look good. Velox makes a rim that looks like that. You should check it out.

a knock off is a cheaper copy of a more expensive original rim; usually the knock off is made w/ cheaper procceses and is heavier and weaker. perfect example are my rims... konig monsoon is a knock off of volk racing AV3.

new company copying popular wheel designs. i ain't sayin they suck or that all knockoffs suck...hell everybody needs to start somewhere...but i dunno. i wouldn't buy "volt" or "exel" or whateva. just preference i suppose...but i'd rather have the real thing that i know is dependable as shit cuz they are putting their respect on the line for each wheel they come out with. you wont see oz racing selling cheap wheels cuz that'd impact their respect amongst REAL racers. but for some company thats been around a year? what do they care? could change their name and move on.

:twisted: Ahh, the 19's do look nice, kinda make the car look like a BMW ( to me at least) THE Black 8G (about 8 cars up) with the LOWENHARTS ISSS NASTY!!!
Anyway, the quantum tek's S-14's I was looking to get in 18, they dont carry anymore, so I couldnt get those anyway... I'll probably just head down to a couple rim shops because nothin beats actually bein up close to the rims you want BUT are there any good websites to browse??? :twisted:
