it often seems like my car doesnt have enough torque
without lauching, the acceleration is very slow and the care will "bog" once in a while
the car seems to hesitate or bog wen i try to slam down on the gas while the engine is runnin below 3500
any idea if this is jus how it is or if theres something wrong?

If the car actually bogs when you floor it, you might have a dirty throttle body. Try cleaning it and see if that helps at all.

cleaning the tb def helped but the low end torque is still weak
is this jus how the car is? it feels like the clutch is slippin and the car jus wont move off the line
i duno if its jus the clutch thats slippin (that would be my third one) or if the car jus doesnt have the torque
any advice, comments, ideas...?

Clean the injectors...check your vaccume lines. When was the last time you changed your wires, plugs, cap and rotor? I don't think the clutch is whats causing you to loose torque.

Hi do one of you guys mind posting a guide on how to clean your throttle body and where it is located thanks.

Your throttle body is located on the intake manifold. To clean it...you need to unclamp the air intake hose from the throttle body opening. Make sure you use EFI throttle body cleaner...spray inside, manually open the throttle plate with the throttle lever. When you start the car it will hesitate at first...but eventually start but will be rough idling at first...possible may choke, but its ok.

There is a way to clean the injectors other than adding the cleaner to the tank. You can directly clean the injectors by getting EFI cleaner directly to the fuel rail. You can buy the injector cleaner at a Mitsu dealer...but you will need the hose and adapter to be able to clean it that way.

What I meant about "rotor" is the distrubuter rotor. Its a fairly inexpensive peice...all it does is rotate and create the spark.
