will jdm vr4 headlights fit perfectly in a 99 G or do certain mods have to be made in regards to the grill/ bumper/ etc?

Nope they won't, it requires extensive cutting of the radiator supports.

they don't fit perfectly but they do fit although you will have to do some cutting to metal to shoe horn them in as well as get a JDM grill. here are pics:

btw, these are '98+ JDM VR4 headlights on my '99 ES V6. just like the others told you, we have covered this multiple times. do a search for "JDM headlights", all words, authored by "Reelax"; i have pretty much outlined the whole procedure 10 times on this board, but if you still need more info i'll b happy to answer after you have read what i have put down earlier.
